About the Role

The Compliance Consultant role is ideal for someone who has experience, knowledge and/or qualifications in proactive compliance monitoring, thorough breach analysis and root cause investigation, compliance monitoring, horizon scanning to identify emerging risks, and production and analysis of Management Information (MI) for senior managers and the Board to support informed decision-making.

About You 

Successful candidates will possess the following key qualities and experience:

• Previous experience of proactive compliance monitoring
• Experience in conducting internal monitoring or internal audit
• Developing and delivery the horizon scanning programme to identify emerging risks
• Producing and analysing Management Information (MI)
• Familiarity with the financial services industry, with specific experience in an area such as retail investments or pensions a plus
• Strong knowledge of the FCA Handbook and UK regulatory environment
• Excellent communication skills at all levels, including the ability to be discreet and confidential and explain complex financial and regulatory information to non-specialists.
• Strong IT literacy, including the ability to navigate and manage compliance platforms, databases and data reporting tools
